Tsunade has been called the last living Senju, meaning that all others known and acknowledged to be Senju are dead. The only female Hokage in Naruto is Tsunade, a former student of Hiruzen and peer of Jiraiya and Orochimaru who is known for her strength and mastery of healing abilities. While the term initially applied to only those of aristocratic birth, it eventually meant all members of the warrior. Tsunade is skilled in medical ninjutsu, as she could even reverse the effect of the dead demon consuming seal and heal Orochimarus arms.
